For the past 4+ years, I've been a core part of a large-scale retail modernization effort to replace legacy systems, owning design, strategy, and output for all shipping workflows now running across 2,200+ FedEx locations.
International Shipping
Led end-to-end design for a high-risk shipping experience within FedEx’s new retail POS platform. The work turned complex country-specific rules, restrictions, and documentation requirements into a guided experience that helped employees reduce guesswork and create compliant shipments across 2,200+ locations with confidence.
Navigating Complexity
Hold at Location
Standardized the in-store pickup process so employees could verify customers, handle exceptions, and prevent unauthorized package handoffs with less guesswork and more consistency across locations.
Inherited Risk
On-the-Go Shipping Tools
Led the first tablet extension of the retail POS platform, translating desktop-only workflows into a guided experience so employees could support customers beyond the counter. The work helped define tablet UX patterns and best practices for other teams while working within fixed timeline constraints.
Constraint-Driven Design
FedEx OnSite App
Currently leading UX for a third-party retail app modernization effort across partner locations, including Walgreens and Dollar General. The work defines scalable pickup, verification, and exception-handling patterns for a new PWA, replacing fragile legacy workflows with clearer decision logic, AI integration, and stronger operational guardrails.
